The Hotel is tatty! We booked , no smoking, accomodation on a B&B basis. All of the fire doors were pegged open! Our room stank of smoke. The window was screwed shut. There were no towels, after waiting in for half an hour we went out. The food hatch downstairs had rude staff and the bar was over-run serviced by only one member of staff at that time. Breakfast was truely terrible. The food was cheap quality mush. The serving staff were attentive although rushed. Our waiter had a hygeine problem! Guests are allowed to eat outside of the restaurant, where their pots stayed after they had gone taking up the table spaces. (as if no manager was on duty) We stayed for two nights but our friends checked out and found alternative accomodation. The entertainment was supprisingly good. best thing- the drop box for the key when checking out, so there is one plus point. I feel that the price paid for accomodation should ressemble what's on offer, very dissatisfied with this short break.

staff could have been more friendly and polite when requesting information, however lady that cleaned rooms was friendly. It is a very large and busy hotel and therefore can be a little confusing with no signs on doors to say private function only, also no price lists on dining room door to say how much dinner costs, you have to book the day before if wish to dine in the evenings ,not enough information relating to entertainment for the evening

The room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortunately we didn't have a sea view, but there again we didn't go away to spend our time looking out of the window. Our room was located 2 floors above the conference venue which was hosting a Line Dancing Weekend which meant we were kept awake on our second evening by loud music and loud revellers returning to their rooms.

Room, although generally clean, needed a thorough clean eg inside drawers & wardrobe, windows, mirrors and under the rim of the toilet. The first room we were offered was so small that the double bed was pushed up against the wall, making it difficult for a 60+ year old to get in and out of bed! It also creaked like mad and was rock hard. However, the hotel receptionist willingly allocated another room (with sea view!) as soon as we complained. Apart from that, the service was excellent, the breakfast was brilliant and set us up for the day, and there's plenty of parking spaces.

I thought this Hotel was over priced and the entertainment was very average. The Hotel is in need of a complete refurbishment. The bedroom was very cold as heating went off during the day. It is one of the furthest away from all the attractions, but at least the tram stops outside the Hotel. I would say that this Hotel is very much aimed towards the more mature guest.

It was not the best location as it was a bit too far to walk to the nearest places of interest.

Generally a good hotel apart from the false fire alarm that we were not advised that we could back to room. (we had to ask). Breakfast was good and hotel had a good gym.

I have to admit that i was expecting alot better from this hotel, the decor was drab and old, we stayed at the [other hotel] last time for the same price and found it 10 times better. On arrival we were dissapointed with a room that looked tired and old with bedding that matched with old scratchy wool blankets instead of duvets. the window was broken in the bathroom and wouldnt close, this meant that on going to bed you could hear the disco blasting through the window and my little girl had a dance competition that we had to get up at 6.30am for. In all I would not return to this hotel, it is out of date, scruffy and overpriced. awful stay

hotel has been renovated but still needs work done. Decor is dated but clean. Staff helpful and allowed to keep room on for a couple of hours as check out is early at 10.30am. Spa not used but pool nice. Alot of groups use this hotel so very busy. Breakfast is buffet and really busy, had to wait some time for coffee. Hotel is far end of blackpool and need a tram into town or at least £8 in a taxi. Room small and bathrom could do with retiling. For the cost this was expensive.

The hotel looked as if it needed refurbishing and painting. The room was basic but needed some interior repairs- toilet fittings coming off walls, no interior door chain, chain on sink plug broken. We only had breakfast and that was very good - the hotel was busy and we must have timed it right as later there were people having to wait for items of food. The staffwere polite and helpful. It suited our needs for one night.

This isn't really a complaint as I am usually cold in hotels and appreciate a bit of heat but it was unusually warm and just a little bit uncomfortable during the night. Also, the hotel restaurant closed at 8pm which we felt was a little early as we had to travel after work on Friday evening and by the time we arrived had missed the evening meal. However, breakfast was lovely and only added to our disappointment that we had missed dinner!

Totally unrated! Never had such poor customer service! Room standard was poor! Stayed in a bed and breakfast that was of higher standards than a 3 star hotel!

Staff are not very customer friendly and need retraining. Light in bathroom was not working properly. Odd curtains in the bredroom that were also ripped. Windows needed cleaning. They even had clean me written on the outside!

This hotel was recommended to me but I was very dissapointed. The room was dark and the window was broken. It rained and was very windy while I was there and the rain came in and wind whistled through the room. Breakfast was nice but very disorganised, there were not enough staff to cope with clearing the tables and you simply sat where you could - it was more of a free for all. The evening entertainment was ok and blackpool centre was a tram ride away about £3, or a taxi ride for £8. You have to go out really as there is nothing near to the hotel other than the beach accross the road. Overall I was very dissapointed with the hotel and would not go back.
