Getting to Goldfield Heights, Queenstown from overseas can be a bit tricky by plane but well worth the effort. Overseas flights must first land in Auckland or Christchurch then take a short flight to Queenstown. From Australia, the trip is easy with daily flights in winter and two to three flights per week in the summer. Once in Queenstown, transportation is very basic with one bus company (Connectabus) with routes throughout the township. Other options include taxi or rental car.
