Walking distance to Osaka Castle and it's beautiful grounds

This hotel is very nice with many designer shops. The staff were extremely helpful. Location was three minutes walk from the station. I do have two complaints, there is no wi-fi in the rooms and the only place you can use it is in the lobby and 1st floor which you actually have to pay for. Worse then this though was the fact that you actually had to pay to use the hotel pool, we wanted to go for a half hour swim on our last day and we were told that they would discount the price two for one for 2,975 yen! needless to say we declined that offer.

You would expect a high standard of the New Otani brand, and this hotel in Osaka delivered that. We were very pleased with our stay, and had a nice view of the Castle. We did not eat there.
