New Orleans Marriott Metairie At Lakeway Hotel Guest Reviews
I went on a cruise and the only minor problem was that it was a $25 taxi ride to the pier but it was well worth it. I cannot say enough good/great/wonderful things about Dot. She knew about the Voyager of the Seas and gave us lots of info about the boat. She projected happiness & fun. She even printed a news article about the Voyager off for us. The staff in general were super polite & helpful. Our room was excellent and they make good and affordable hamburgers. The hotel was a bit of a challenge for us to find. Get good directions or use your GPS. jim in Texas

I'd say for what I paid I got more than what i deserved. The construction and weather was terrible, but that is out of their control. I'll definitely return.

The Marriott at Metaire was fabulous! The staff was so nice and helpful and although the hotel was a little further from New Orleans than expected there was plenty of places to eat around the hotel...and was closer to the airport! I would definately stay here again and recommend it to anyone!

A great place to stay if you don't want to pay the cost to be right down town. Nice hotel with free parking on the weekend. Easy access to I-10.

The whole experience was great, but I really have to comment on the staff! My daughter and I were traveling alone, so we had alot of questions, and needed some assistance in a couple areas. Everyone, from the desk clerks, to the concierge service, to the bar and restaurant staff, were absolutely wonderful.! Not only were they helpful, but they were so friendly and cheerful! They directed us to the best local place in the area to get beignets and cafe au lait, and the best places to shop. In the evenings, we ate at the hotel restaurant, and the food was delicious! They made us feel really welcome. I will definitely return to the Marriott, in Metairie, the next time I go to New Orleans.
