Overall okay, if you don't stay in the room that much. Easy walk to FQ activities without having to tolerate the noise all night long. Rooms were tiny with even smaller bathrooms. Showers were not the greatest, had to wear flip flops much like you would in a campground. Phone in room inoperable. Probably would not recommend to a friend. Would spend the extra cash next time for a cleaner bathroom and more space.

This is a very good hotel! I stayed here for 6 nights alone in a pretty small, but clean room, with a beautiful classic oldtime decoration. And it had good heating, which this year unfortunately was rather important in the start of march... The hotel as such is also really beautiful - especially the livingroom, where I enjoyed the included and very good breakfast buffet. What was really important to me, was that the people in the reception were extremely friendly and helpful. They truly gave me the right impression of the humorous, relaxed and friendly atmosphere in "the Big Easy". The location is excellent - at the border of the French Quarter - just 3 streets from Bourbon Str. , it is so close to the very center it could possibly be, without being disturbed by the hustle in Bourbon str. I felt very happy and very safe at this place! I would highly recommend it to anyone who is in New Orleans for the first time!

The hotel is nice, very well located at the northern "border" of the French Quarter. So you can reach the most interesting sites, restaurants, bars by foot. The rooms are ok for the price, but don't expect too much. And it is clean, but not superclean. The lady who takes care of the breakfast is annoying. She tries to tell the guests which plates to use for which food, if you come to have breakfast 10 minutes before they close she shouts at you: "grab what you can, you only have 5 minutes left". If you take a bagel while she is refilling the "buffet" she will say "Don't destroy my display" etc etc. She is really unfriendly and not appropriate for this job. But if you are a relaxed person you will probably find this funny because you will always think "Is this real? Did she really say that?" The other staff is rather helpful and friendly.

Very nice staff and very clean facilities. Located within walking distance of multiple restaurants and bars. I'd definitely stay there again.

it is a quite nice pleace very near to french quarter! unfortunatelly in not very good condition and not very clean...but i was there with my boyfriend so we were so happy that it didnt disturb us :)) generally i can recomend this place :)
