New Hotel Charlemagne Brussels Guest Reviews (12)
The hotel is in the EU quarter which is a bit out of the centre but the centre can be easily reached by the metro (3 or so stops). The rooms are clean but our room didn't have a bath which for a 4 star is dissapointing. We did have some problems with the lock on the door of our first room and our room was quickly changed. The staff were reasonably helpful but the man who came to the room did waffle on. This is an ok hotel to stay at if you want a nicer room for a cheaper price (we paid about 40 a night) and don't mind traveling in to the city. The area is expensive but clean and safe. Worth considering if the price is cheap. Worth noting that there walk up price was 250 Euros a night which is scandalous as in my opinion this is no more than an average 3 star hotel. Breakfast is shockingly expensive and isn't included!

Quiet hotel close to EU buildings, clean and nice to sleep in, rather modest breakfast but all in all ok.

The breakfast room is OK, but the service ...:(

Great location, but the rooms were tired. Really needs refurbishment. Wouldn't pay the full rack rate for this place but the weekend rate was pretty good.

Great value at the price I paid. It would have been awful value at the prices posted in the lobby.
