Location
Set in the beautiful surroundings, overlooking the lake, the Neuhaus Golf and Strand Hotel Interlaken is placed on the main road of Interlaken and is also in proximity to the beach. This property is only a 10-minute drive from the city centre and 3 kilometres from the Interlaken West Train Station.

Very beautiful location by the lake, but 20 mins drive to the centre, no problem if you have a car handy of course. Very friendly staff, I have been here twice and will come back again.

This was a good hotel and had a fabulous restaurant. Only downside was the location from the centre of town. The buses were very infrequent and stopped running at 7.30 each evening. Taxi's were pretty expensvie and it was too far too walk (an hour as we did it one night). This meant that eating in Interlaken each night was not really possibe. That aside I would recommend the hotel.

Very good process for late arrivals (we were 03:20!). Map / sat nav location could be better - our Navteq (Vauxhall) showed it 3 miles further out of Interlaken when set to its premises number on Seestrasse. Cobbled path to lower rooms difficult (wheelchair user), otherwise everything good.

Very good breakfast. We definitely went at a quiet point in the year and were the only ones at breakfast. Good location for travelling to the ski areas and nice views right on the waterfront. The actual rooms are clean and tidy.

No kettle or coffee making facilities. Very clean and comfortable room. Good breakfast although some days there was much less choice than other days. Beautiful position by the lake. Free bus pass also.
