Almere Climate
Like most of the province, Almere has mild winters and cool summers. With its oceanic climate, averages during the warm months of June through August are 23°C, and from the winter and fall months of October through March, the temperatures range between 0-10°C. Rainfall for the area comes in at about 833 mm for the year and generally occurs during autumn and winter.
Getting There & Around
By plane, visitors will come into the Schiphol Airport. Via the train, there are direct connections to the area from Amsterdam and other locations such as Utrecht and Lelystad.
Almere has five train stations as well as an extensive network of bus routes and free-laying bike paths. Bikes can be rented at bike shops located at a few of the train stations, and buses in the area are run by Connexxion.
