Location
Surrounded by pine forests and overlooking the Adriatic Sea, the Neptun is a short walk from Lapad Beach and only two kilometres from the port where boats leave for the islands of Kolocep, Sipan, and Lokrum, just across the water from the old town.
Rooms
All rooms and suites at the Neptun have furnished balconies and each room features mini bar, safe, telephone, Satellite TV, and en suite bathrooms. Family rooms are also available.
Restaurant
Guests at the hotel have the choice of a sea view la carte restaurant serving a wide choice of international cuisine, or a buffet restaurant serving hot and cold Mediterranean dishes.
General
The Neptune hotel is a good choice for guests looking for comfort and a wide range of facilities. The hotel is part of a group which shares facilities such as a choice of bars, two seawater pools - outdoor, rock platform beach with sun loungers and umbrellas, wellness centre with massages, sauna, fitness facilities, children's playground, bicycle rental, and a seaside nature boardwalk.

Excellent location with stunning sea views. Easy access to old town by local bus. Efficient and friendly staff. Would stay here again.

Stayed in room on ground floor with Sea view. It was a little to close to reception but OK. Excellent pool area with great swimming in the sea also. They also had a excursions rep located in hotel, which was really helpful. At the end of the line for the bus (no. 6) about 10-15 mins from the Old town and there is one every 15mins or so. Not much around the hotel so when in to town most nights. Taxi from Airport cost 250 kuna. On the negative side, Stayed in September and it was very quiet, this is normally fine for us but Bar closed very early (10pm one night). Restaurant was OK but a bit fancy and there was no snack food available (you don't always want to go out for a 5 course meal...) All in all I would stay there again. I would rate it as high four star hotel. Croatian hotels can be a bit on the expensive side but I would recommend this one.

Great location right on the coast to enjoy some swimming. Lovely bar overlooking the water, a perfect location to enjoy some cocktails. Room was a good size with a balcony. Room had air conditioning. Reception was friendly. Information desk was quite helpful and rang ferry company to confirm timetables for us. Bus stop into the old city is less than a 2 minute walk away. Hotel is about a 10 minutes by taxi from the main bus station. Breakfast had a good variety.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel could do with investing some more money back into the place.Like new carpets as they were very worn. The mini bar was not available in my room. The glasses were dirty in my room. Most of the facilities were not open at the time of my stay even though it was May. The pool could have done with a clean. Pity about the building work/noise which was going on up the road jouring my stay.
