This hotel has very convinient location near Khao San road - 5 min walk. I have stayed here 3 years in a row, and every year price has gone up. Serene corner is quite nice and clean. Staff is ignorant, not very helpful, and bellhop/piccolo is trying to rob you off with bad taxi deals (they wait in front of the hotel). 500-700bht to MBK. If you take a taxi few hundred meters off, its about 150bht. Anyway, i might still take this hotel because it´s one of the nicer ones (and quiet) near Khao San.

Would not reccommend this hotel at all. Room with balcony overlooked rusty roofs, smell was terrible. Wifi, what Wifi, didnt work. Staff pretended they couldnt understand you. Navalai River Resort is very overpriced, photos of the hotel were alot better than the place actually is. Would not return again.

The internet connection in the room was frustrating, never got more than 2 bars at any time. The service in the restaurant was a little slow most of the time. But the room and the location was brilliant. Sitting out on the deck to read in the evening was a great way to end the day.. The park next door is an oasis.
