Set in sub tropical gardens, fringed with palm trees and bordering the native bush covered hills, The Nautilus Resort is only 200 meters from the beautiful, sandy, Tii beach is only 1 kilometres from the centre of the village.

we were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and facilities loved the pool and spa

Not sure why this is called a "resort" as more like a motel with rooms accessed directly from the car park and the rooms, furnitue and fittings are adequate but far from resort standard. It does have a tennis court and small swimming pool. Situated at the far end of the main street it is next door to a Woolworths supermarket which is convenient for purchasing supplies. There is an onsite guest laundry at reasonable cost. The staff are helpful and friendly.

No internet service. Not ideal for Business people, but great facilities for families. TV in bedroom - terrible reception on channels.

Spacious comfortable rooms with well kept quality appliances. Friendly helpfull managers. Will stay there in the future when in the area.

The room and hotel facilities are really nice. I believe that no one complains about those two things. However, the location is a little bit far away from the beach and city center. You definitely need a car. That's a minus point. And the price is expensive. You can stay Auckland city center much cheaper.
