i've stayed at the Nathan hotel for two times, great location, staffs were excellent, very helpful and polite, rooms were clean and cozy, the only bad thing about this hotel is the shower, tiny tiny water flows which cause u a long time to bath, overall, very enjoyable stay!

I had only 1 night in HK to spend on my way back from china to my home country. I was looking for a decent, cosy, comfortable, accessible, and nicely priced hotel that would make my stay in HK memorable. I was nicely surprised by Nathan Hotel. Got more than what I expected. Booking thru internet was smooth on the night before. When I reached the next morning my room was ready. Even got a free upgrade to the executive suite. Very spacious, cosy room. It's walking distance to the very busy Nathan road. Both me and wife enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it.

Great location, close to MTR and buses, short walk to TST and Mongkok area. Staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. Room was good size (nathan room) but bathroom had mouldy ceiling. Got changed to another room and similar scenario. Other than that the rooms were good.

Stayed in a Nathan room. Good sized room by HK standards with good amenities. Bathroom was a very tight fit and only had a shower . Great hot water and no water all over the floor after a shower. Breakfast was good. Not sure of the Nathan Lounge concept. I was expecting a club type lounge rather than a small room on each Nathan floor. It didnt really add much value to my stay other than a decent coffee.

We booked the Nathan room but it turned out to be so much smaller than what's shown on photos. Bathrrom with toilet and just a shower was tiny, you will have to be sitting on the toilet to open the bathrrom door! Bed was supposed to be queen size, but only just a double bed for my husband, me and my 4 year old! You get access to the Nathan Lounge but nothing special at the lounge only coffee, tea and only 3 choices of juice - pineapple, tomato or grapefuit juice. My parents booked the executive room, which is about AUD$60 per night cheaper and twice as big and with a shower/bathtub. On seeing their room, we made a complaint and was moved to an executive grand room, which the hotel thinks it's an equivalent cost to the Nathan room. Overall experience was ok, but could be better, nothing special about the hotel apart from the convenience of the location and free WIFI in most rooms. A bit pricey though. Some staff are friendly but some staff aren't - especially the reception staff, that should get training on customer service are very much lacking it. Thanks to Danny from reception who fixed the problem with the room even though he was not the one who checked us in the first place and to the bellboy who helped get us checkout quicker and waved down the K1 bus for us.

I have stayed in the hotel for 3 nights and the only good thing was location. Reception staff and other staff not friendly. Rooms are as small as coffins and AC dont work properly. Breakfast menue is also very small.Bathrooms and rooms are old fashioned and need some serious attention.

We arrived the hotel before check-in time and were lucky to get a free upgrade and a room to go to immediately. We were informed about the renovation works on the 13th floor and we were staying on the 9th floor, the noise did not really bother us. The location is good, there is nice food nearby and within walking distance to MTR station. No worries about stairs or uphill/downhill slopes. The airport express shuttle stop is also nearby which is convenient for free & easy travellers.

Good sized and new looking rooms, however the bathrooms obviously missed out on the on-going "revamp" as they were old and worn. Overall, good value and a great location.

Staff was really nice and helpful. Great location in the center of Kowloon. Short 4 min walk to the Jordan MTR station. Nathan Floor rooms had enough space for 2 people no problems and a really nice bathroom. Free internet that is fast enough to steam audio and Skype with no problem. Hotel is 2 blocks away from the Temple street night market. The morning breakfast is a open buffet with an assortment of foods both western and local cuisine. Will book again.

Stayed 2 nights in January 2012. We were very pleased with our accomodations; rooms were larger than what I expected. Hotel is walking distance to all the Kowloon markets and shopping. Airport Express bus drops you off in front of the hotel and the pick-up is just down the street (very Convenient). Staff was very friendly and helpful (thanks Leo). Wifi is free and pretty fast.

I have stayed at this hotel many times (at least 15-20) over the past few years, and usually for a minimum of 7-10 days, and has sometimes gone up to 2-3 weels straight. This hotel suits my partner and I because we prefer the Kowloon side, and access to Temple Street Markets, Mongkok markets, Mongkok andShamShui Po computer centres etc. ALWAYS saty in the Nathan floors which are better finished and were refurbished about 5-6 years ago. The Nathan Floor rooms include free internet access (important to us), plus free buffet breakfasts. Only two lifts which is fine if they are both working, but quite often one can be out of action for a short while which causes bak-up of people. Staff generally very polite and courteous. NOT an issue for us, but for some it might be important to have a swimming pool, but therte is no pool at this hotel. Will continue to stay here when we visit Honk Kong/.

I have been staying in Nathan for almost 4 years, never had a complain but there is always room for improvement. My most recent stay was on 28/09, reached hotel around 1.30 pm, checking in was a breeze, though my room was not ready, the receptionist manage to put me in another room not wanting me to wait too long. On 29/09, Hong Kong was hit by typhoon Nesat and all public transport were not in service except for a few taxis, I had an appointment in another hotel but it was difficult getting a taxi, the concierge and bell boy were so helpful, one of the bell boy even went to the extend of rushing out in the rain to stop a taxi for me, I greatly appreciate such gestures and though Nathan is not rated 5 stars, the services rendered makes you a star.

My wife and I stayed in the Nathan room for 3 nights and had access to the lounge with free coffee/tea, cold drinks and computer with internet. My wife likes a good shower and this one was excellent. The bed was firm, just how I like it. Check-in staff all very helpful with no language problems. Would stay again.

Good Things : - Located in the heart of tourists area - Very near to the MRT train station and very much convinient - Good food during the breakfast time Bad things : - Poor hospitality from the hotel officer - one lift has broke down and consume a lot of time for waiting the lift - The photos of the room is totally different with the actual thing. Please be aware of it. -
