Location
In one of the most fascinating areas of the Sorrentine Peninsular, with a splendid view of the gulfs of Naples and Salerno, rises the Nastro Azzurro Resort Sorrento. The Resort is situated in a 30,000 square meters park with typical Mediterranean vegetation.

This hotel is 6 miles from Sorrento Town but offers a good shuttle service.

This hotel has a magnificent setting over a very large area. the amazing variety of breakfast is served on a large balcony. You have to dress up for dinner and it is a bit pricey. It is a twenty minute drive up in the mountain from the train station, but there's a complimentary shuttle service available. Three critisizms. All double beds consist of two single mattresses put together, so if you're single you cannot sleep in the middle.The thick curtains do not meet in the middle. So if your room faces east like mine did, you wake up with the sunrise; in summer that's around 5 am. Lastly, check-out at 10 am not the universal 12 noon.

We had a standard room which was of high standard exept hairdryer was faulty & shutters did not work but very good views from balcony

the hotel was great but the location (some miles from Sorrento) was a real surprise, this made it difficult when going out for the evening.

Hotel is 20 minute drive from sorrento, good shuttle service into the town, I suggest only B&B as food is basic and with no flavour, pool is good with loads of sun loungers. If you are at this hotel, please sample the Farm restaurant, 10 minutes walk from the hotel...a must for food lovers!!! Staff are very helpful and accomodating
