Nassau Palm Hotel Guest Reviews

It was a great location. We were in the middle of downtown Nassau. Almost everything is in walking distance like Fish Fry on Junkanoo Beach and downtown. We didn't stay in the hotel much so as long as your like me it a good place to stay. Nothing special.

I try to take other's reviews of hotels and vacations with a grain of salt as everyone has a different level of tolerance. We ignored the poor reviews of the Nassau Palm Resort and turns out they were right. Their website advertises a whirlpool of which does not exist. They also speak of complimentary WiFi in the lobby. We were never able to log on to the internet in the 4 hours we waited for our room to be ready. Upon getting our room, we were only in it for 10 min, long enough to take pics of the dirty furniture/mirror/walls/bathroom and then leave!!!

This is about my 10th stay at the Nassau Palms. Under new management, many small things have been improved from the overall security, to the friendliness and responsiveness of the staff, and even little things like higher quality toilet paper! I had a very good inexpensive stay and was pleased that the Junkanoo beach area in general seems to be making a comeback--there was a car show at the nearby fish fry with Sir Sterling Moss in attendance. Had to go into town (a short walk) to get free WiFi, which was acceptable. Overall, a good value for the $$ if you can accept that this is not the Atlantis!

PROS-This is my third time comming here mainly because it's cheeper than most hotels. The location is excellent because it's a short walk to the Fish Fry and historic down town Nassau and Junkanoo beach is across the street. I also like the view of the light house. CONS-Amenities are few: two swimming pools that I never seen anyone use. Complimentary breakfast is simple. No meat, eggs, pancake, or, french toast. There was only mixed fruit, oatmeal, toast, Bagles, coffe and orange juice. The hotel was in disrepair: one of the elevators didn't work and the restarant was closed and there were small bugs in my room. Conclusion: If you are a single traveler who enjoys scuba diving and just wants a cheep place to stay then this is for you but I would not recomend for family fun.

I was not informed that check in time was 4 o,clock, there was only one person checking in about five people at the check in counter so there was a long wait.then i was told the room would not be ready before four,i got there at about twelve forty carpet in the room was dirty we were given plastic drinking cups.overall the entire experience was very poor i would not reccomend anyone to stay at the nassau palm hotel period.
