NH Koeln City Hotel Guest Reviews
Despite what the website says, breakfast is NOT complimentary at this hotel. We stayed there last weekend thinking breakfast was complimentary to all guests, but found out that was a mistake on the booking site. The incredibly rude front desk staff (not as surprise as this is Germany) refused to honor the website's claims. I don't blame the hotel, but good customer service would be to honor the promise of complimentary breakfast. We opted not to eat at the hotel, as the breakfast cost 20 euro a person! Since it was Sunday, out only other option was the gas station next door, which had decent croissants for 1,20 euro. Also, be advised parking is 17 euro a day for hotel guests. I would not stay here again, although the location was convenient for walking to the Christmas Markets.

Nice and cozy. Room was large with modern fixtures and furniture. Bed very comfortable. Bathroom very nice and well equipped. A fan to remove moisture and smell would be a welcome addition. Breakfast very expensive:18 euro/person for a bowl of cereals! Highly recommended. Book over internet to get a fair price for the room.

I have stayed in this hotel for 3 nights and I am surprised to see such a beatiful hotel with this low price. I advise everyone to stay in this hotel when they visit Cologne. And aslo location of the hotel is very good. It only takes 6 Euro to the centre(Dom) of Cologne by taxi.
