NH Barbizon Palace Hotel Amsterdam Guest Reviews
I had a quiet room at the back of the hotel facing a small canal. The hotel is opposite Central Station, and alongside a small pedestrian street called Zeedijk.

The hotel is in a fantastic location. The canals are close by and within walking distance. Many sights are also very close. There are many good restaurants close by as well. We were upgraded to a very comfortable room with a great view. The room was very tastefully decorated, very comfortable and spacious. The hotel restaurant has fine food and good ambiance. The staff was very professional and attentive. I would definitely stay there again. We were very happy with the hotel.

The hotel is in a good location near the train station, but our room was on the 1st floor next to the street and we could hear everything going on til it quieted down around 2am. The bed had not been replaced in the last 10 years I think, old tv, have to pay to use the fitness center

For the AUD$166 we paid at the time, this hotel was fantastic. Huge king bed and large room and ensuite, free wifi in lobby and 5 star service. You can see the hotel from the front of the Centraal station so very easy to get to, and just a short walk into the sights of Ansterdam.
