N4U Guest House Florence Guest Reviews
There is no front desk or staff- just one guy who is there 4 hrs a day. Since there is no staff, if you arrive before check-in you're SOL to even drop off your bags-- no-one will even answer the door. The bathrooms are outside your bedroom, and not right next to your bedroom but rather down the hall. Although they are advertised as "private", we soon realized they are keyed the same! So basically anyone staying at the "guest house" could walk into your bathroom at any time- no security at all! The location was close to the sites (which was the only plus) but it was so loud at night, I couldn't even sleep through the night. Some of the other guests staying there were yelling in the hallway from 12-4AM one night- it was like staying over in a frat house! All in all, if you're willing to stay in a hostel, there is probably a cheaper option in Florence. If you're looking for a legit bed and breakfast or a hotel, DON'T STAY HERE!

Great, quirky place, but no lift was a real downer, especially for our wheelchair!

A really different sort of accomodation. Very artistic..every room has a different colour theme and decor. We enjoyed our stay here the bed was huge and comfortable. You have your own bathroom and toilet but you have to unlock another door in the hallway to get to it (no problem). there is a communal lounge room with tv and dvd player with assorted movies. Our only problem was walking up and down the stairs with the suitcases..but i guess the excercise was needed after all the gelati. Overall a nice place to stay.
