Musket Cove Island Resort Malolo LaiLai Island4 Stars
Malolo LaiLai Mamanuca Island
The Musket Cove Island Resort is located on Malolo Lailai Island, which is only 15 kilometres west of Nadi in the Mamanuca Islands.
Musket Cove Resort features island style accommodation of traditional thatched bures and spacious villas that are set amongst coconut palms by the lagoon or on the white sandy beachfront. Each unit is designed with the tropical surroundings in mind, providing ample space to relax and enjoy the island style life.
The restaurant Dick's Place serves an extensive a la carte menu that includes a mix of international and indigenous cuisine, a delight for the most discerning palate. Overlooking the lagoon, the Marina Coffee Cove is a wonderful relaxing venue for a modern cafe style meal, to chat over a cup of coffee or to enjoy the scenery. The bar offers exotic cocktails while you watch the sun dip beneath the horizon and listen to the island string band.
This resort has one of the safest and most sheltered bays in the Mamanucas for indulging in the range of activities. Guests are provided with complimentary activities, which include windsurfing, kayaks, snorkelling trips and much more. The surrounding coral reefs and nearby dive sites also have a lot to offer the experienced diver.

Musket Cove Island Resort Malolo LaiLai Island Guest Reviews (4)
Musket Cove was a very traditional and beautiful resort to stay at. It's only 50 mins by Maloo Cat from Port Denarnu. We stayed in the Beachfront Bure and it was just beautiful and so very quiet and peaceful in regards to noise level. They off free acitivites such as Scuba Trips daily and Canoeing. There is a Supermarket at the resort too. They have music every evening, the band is great. I thought Musket Cove was the pick of the three resorts on the Island for couples without Children. Loved my stay.

It takes a very pleasant 45 min. boat trip to reach Musket Cove. You are welcomed on the wharf by the very friendly staf.We stayed in a newly renovated (over water) lagoon bungalow.Lounge, sep. bedroom, bathroom and great deck, which gets serviced every day. This is such a beautiful island with the typical palmtrees/beach image we often see on postcards. Lots of watersports with the best , helpful , happy staff. Also fun to hire a bike and explore the rest of the island. I can recommend the "Island Hopping Day trip". The Restaurant has different theme nights (eg Seafood, BBQ, Indian). This was our 3rd visit to the island and hope to go back. Great place to relax.
