Location
This fresh and elegant property is located in a central yet secluded location just outside the main town centre of Katoomba in the beautiful Blue Mountains. Guests can enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the rugged sandstone escarpments, deep mountain gorges and the tree filled valleys.
Rooms
All guestrooms are spacious and yet, at the same time are warm and welcoming. They create a feel that reflects the ambience of both The Blue Mountains and the historic building.

The Jamison Views Restaurant provides an ever-changing menu of fine cuisine designed to tempt the most discerning palate with the chefs using only the freshest of in-season ingredients. Fire Spa room at the rate of $348 per night. The room and service was below expectation. There was no-one to show us the room, no concierge, no welcome note nor complimentary wine/chocolates. Sumptuous furnishings of hotel did not flow into room. The double bed was 2 single beds pushed together. All Fire Spa rooms do not have views from their windows. Lock on sliding bathroom door can get jammed (no phone in bathroom to call for help). There was, however, a working fire place (gas) and spa bath (with hot water). The rate does not include breakfast - hot breakfast another $28 (or cold eg cereal etc, $18). Dinner was delicious (especially dessert) and reasonably priced - around $140 for 2 adults. Pianist played exceptionally entertaining music. But a wait staff appeared inexperienced.

Nice old fashioned hotel with an English country house feel. We had a valley view room which was huge with great views. Ate one night in the restaurant and the food and service was very good. Easy walk into Katoomba main street.

Stunning location set overlooking the valley. Heritage hotel with some history. Restaurant very, very good - certainly one of the best I have come across for a long time.
