Excellent. Romantic.

The hotel was excellent and worthwhile a visit as long as you are looking for a relaxing holiday and not night life. The sea water was very dirty so the fantastic pool was a welcome relief.

Mooban talay has a great ambience - simple but elegant and tasteful and they make very good use of the local natural environment. It has an excellent setting and the rooms are great. Note that I had an oceanview suite.

The property is very peaceful and quiet but only 1 restaurant with a limited menu and no other restaurants/bars nearby. The beach is ok (but not as good as the chedi beach in phuket) and there are lots of boats going by - it''s right next to the ferry pier - which spoils the beach setting somewhat. Overall, it''s definitely one of the nicest places to stay in ko samet at the upper end.

A very, very good hotel, but a little bit far away from the National Park, the main scene. Also, transportation between two points is really expensive.

It''s white beach and clear water made us feel free of mind and we had a very nice holiday there. Our request and queries were responded to in a friendly and efficient way. For the one who likes to have close-to-nature holiday, just feel the sea breeze by sea. You will get the experience if you do stay there.
