Montien Hotel Pattaya Guest Reviews
Location is pretty good, just across the street to the beach and next door to Hard Rock Café. All rooms have balconies facing the sea - however, a few rooms on lower levels have no sea view. Room standard was old with dirty and smelly carpet - vastly below our expectations. Pool and garden area was very nice and the hotel had free gym and tennis court. Staff service level was ok. Other guests at this time seemed to be mostly retired couples on package trips from Finland and a group from another Eastern European (?) country. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel unless they renovate the rooms.

I first stayed at the Montien Pattaya 20 years ago for six weeks. It was an excellent 4 star hotel then and the same now. I have stayed there a dozen times since then. They have gotten a bit pricey lately and you will want to avoid Christmas Eve and New Years Eve because of predatory "Gala Dinner Party" mandatory charges.

This is a clean, comfortable hotel. Rooms are big and spacious beds. Location is good and within reach to Pattaya centre. Wireless internet is convenient and cheap at the lobby for those who would like to bring their laptop with them. The only negative issue was that I had been asked to leave a deposit of Baht5700 when checking in and was later debited to my account. However, the issue has been settled after Montien Pattaya secured me that this was a genuine mistake and reimbursed me back the funds. Would recommend this hotel and would stay there once again....Thanks J. Malta

An excellent hotel will stay again had super sea view room, well appointed and all staff very helpful and friendly.
