Monaco Hotel Verona Guest Reviews
OK for a simple overnight stay when traveling, but don't expect a great atmosphere, very far (15 minutes by car) away from Verona City centre.

Monaco Hotel is very average, but at least very clean. However, the room smelled very musty from the air conditioner even when we turned it off and opened the window. Staff were very helpful, especially in getting the taxis you have to get to go to and from the center. The walk is about 4 km and not a good road to walk. Breakfast was not good - coffee from a self-service machine despite the professional cafe machine behind the bar in the dining room - and generally packaged breads. Having said all of that, overall it was OK for the price considering we were in the height of Opera season.

This hotel is located in the industrial zone of Verona. It is very handy for visitors to Fiera di Verona, the grounds of which are 15 minutes walk from the hotel. There is also a municipal bus service which passes at 20 minute intervals. A taxi from Piazza Bra costs about 12 - 13 Euros. My single room was small, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom well equipped and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. I had dinner once in the dining room, which was very good. I would return to this hotel if I was going to a trade even at Fiera di Verona.
