Moevenpick Hotel Zurich Guest Reviews
This hotel is less than 5 miles from the Zurich airport but less convenient because the shuttle bus only leaves once an hour and it doesn't run at all in the middle of the day. I actually made a mistake booking there, and it was sort of inconvenient. But on the other hand, the hotel itself is quite nice, there is an unusually excellent italian restaurant right there, the staff was very nice, etc. I made it work without a big problem, just working more around the shuttle than I thought I would. I walked to the train station from the hotel and headed into downtown Zurich without any problem at all.

This is and EXCELLENT hotel and our second time there. The staff are most friendly & accomodating especially when I asked for a specific room on our return from 3 days in Italy. The rooms are large and have eveything you could want in them. The breakfast is to die for. Located outside the Zurich city, it made for easy access to autobahns and anywhere else. Close to major shopping precinct's. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who does not want to be in the centre of a large city.

Can't say enough about this place. Just Fabulous. From the welcome drink to the enormous and well appointed room. Parking at cost but it's in the under garage and completely secure. The staff are very attentive and most helpful.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL. Transportation service from the airport to the hotel sucks as well as their Customer Service. First of all, hotel is too far from the airport. Days before I called the hotel to arrange transportation. After a long flight I arrived to the Zurich airport and wait to be picked up. After an hour at the airport I found out there was not transportation. I was stranded at the airport, in a strange country. I had no other choice but to pay a taxi, which charges me 40.00 francs. Receptionist promises me I would be reimbursing in the morning. On my check out, I explained front desk about the inconvenient with transportation. Front desk was the naughtiest and rudest person that I’ve ever known. This receptionist had lack professionalism and customer services. I also witnessed how bad he treated another customer. I request a manager, and none was available. After two months I still haven’t been reimbursed. This hotel was not worthy the money that I paid.

The room is clean, the staff is friendly and the price is reasonable.
