This is got to be the best value hotel in Waikiki. Central with vibrant city on it feet. And the price I paid for it was best value in town. The room is a bit small but it was only used for sleeping. Certainly too small for family of 4.

We spent a few days here en route from Australia to the mainland USA and also on the way back. Comfortable and clean with everything close by including a laundromat.

Our room was 1513 it was aweful close to the elevator, noise was to much. when asked to change the room, the staff was rude on the front counter and lied there were no rooms empty.. our next door room had 3 bed 1515 which was empty, asked if we get any previlege for car parking they dont know who owns the underground parking and had no telephone number fee for parking is $20/- per day, our room had a weird smell when we arrived the first night.. we had to leave our windows open, our fridge was rusted and our coffee machine was broken, our room carpet was worn out and ugly, we had hot water problem by the time second person goes to get a shower there was no hot water. dont be fooled by the look of the lobby cuz they just got it renovated... we were fooled, our friends from Australia has bed bugs.. i dont recommend anyone spending so much money for Miramar at Waikiki. not worth it.

This hotel was very clean. Personnel was very helpful and professional. We did not hear any other room noises. It was a great location. We really enjoyed our stay here. We would recommend it to others. We would definitely stay there again.

It doesn't get a lot better from my perspective. I have been to 5 star hotels but when I go on vacation, I need a place to sleep with a certain number of amenities and the Miramar at Waikiki delivered. Free internet is a plus for me. I was able to update my Facebook page daily with pictures and comments. The room was clean and the staff super friendly. The location is also fantastic, right in the heart of Waikiki, next to restaurants and great shopping. We were able to walk to the zoo, the aquarium and the botanical garden to quote a few of the attractions that were close by. I did not mention the beach yet but it was a 3 minutes walk though the International Market and a Palm tree alley. I would return to the Miramar in a blink

Every thing nicely, but the amenities are pretty old with some problem. Sometime, the room ceiling plates were "floating" (suddenly open up and fall down) when the window is open and windy, it looks horrible.

Great hotel and location. Just a little dated if that kind of thing bothers you. I would stay again. The 8.5 foot deep pool was really handy, as other hotels I stayed at in the area have extremely shallow swimming pools 3-4 foot. Being 6 foot it was really nice.

Really lovely place at a great price. Nice to still have a hotel where you can smoke on the lanai. I know smoking is bad, but as a female traveling alone, it was of benefit to not have to go down to the street to do so... Friendly staff, organised an early check in with no hassle at all. Pretty good location, 5 minutes to the beach. Great staff and nice rooms.

we found the hotel to be clean/convenient and relaxing. the pool area was always clean and in general, apart from the fact that we could not see any view from our balcony, our stay was enjoyable.

The front desk staff appears to discriminate customers depending on their social and economical status. The facilities need to be renovated.

A very nice hotel considering its price and location. The staffs are really friendly, definitely recommend this hotel to colleagues, really worth it. Some flaws here and there, nevertheless owing to its price - no way to complaint.... cheers.

Breakfast prices were expensive which deterred our use of the facility.Half the price next door at Denny,s. Staff were friendly and helpful especially Daryl at the luggage area. Would stay there again.

This was the third time we have stayed at the Miramar as we like the location and the price. We have always found the staff helpful and pleasant. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was clean. The in room safe wasn't working when we arrived and it was promptly fixed. However, it was very windy when we arrived and when we opened the balcony door to get a bit of fresh air the ceiling acoustic tiles were loose and blew out of alinement. My husband, constantly, had to stand on the bed and put them back in place. Also the railing rattled very loudly which we fixed by compacting some paper and inserting in the join. We feel that the hotel needs a bit of attention and if we go to Honolulu again we would probably look at another hotel in the same area. In saying all that, we did enjoy our stay.
