The Miramar Hotel is conveniently located right on the city bus routes that will transport you to locations like Diamond Head or the Ala Moana Shopping Centre which are in opposite directions but both are just over 2 kilometres from the hotel. The Miramar is a twenty-minute drive from Honolulu International Airport.

It doesn't get a lot better from my perspective. I have been to 5 star hotels but when I go on vacation, I need a place to sleep with a certain number of amenities and the Miramar at Waikiki delivered. Free internet is a plus for me. I was able to update my Facebook page daily with pictures and comments. The room was clean and the staff super friendly. The location is also fantastic, right in the heart of Waikiki, next to restaurants and great shopping. We were able to walk to the zoo, the aquarium and the botanical garden to quote a few of the attractions that were close by. I did not mention the beach yet but it was a 3 minutes walk though the International Market and a Palm tree alley. I would return to the Miramar in a blink

Every thing nicely, but the amenities are pretty old with some problem. Sometime, the room ceiling plates were "floating" (suddenly open up and fall down) when the window is open and windy, it looks horrible.

Hotel is a little older, room was clean and had great view from my balcony, plenty of things to do around the hotel, go to the sports bar around the corner called round table pizza all the games on tv and mike and shanna the bartenders were excellent.

Great location near shopping and one block from beach. Clean and comfortable room, good value for money. Friendly staff.

Great hotel and location. Just a little dated if that kind of thing bothers you. I would stay again. The 8.5 foot deep pool was really handy, as other hotels I stayed at in the area have extremely shallow swimming pools 3-4 foot. Being 6 foot it was really nice.
