Gary and Fran are very friendly and warm hosts. My stay in their Lord of the Rings-themed Barliman's room was most memorable. Because it was very busy during 'Warbirds over Wanaka' over Easter, Gary made the effort to book nearby restaurants for me and fellow lodgers, which was much appreciated. He also crafts a cool gourmet brekky! Fran's bubbly enthusiasm was a joy to behold. Thanks for a great stay! Highly recommended.

Extremely friendly, cozy, and efficient place. Gary and Fran make the visit perfect. Wine and hors d'oeuvres before going out to dinner, Breakfast is very special. A short walk from the gorgeous lake in a residential area. Fine walking paths nearby. Wanaka is not your usual touristy town- rather quiet and civilized.
