Good points: Very welcoming and helpful front desk staff that provided very good local restaurant recommendations. Good pub grub in the bar. The bedlinen, carpets and bathrooms were clean and there was plenty of space for stoage. Local pubs are only a walk away and yet the hotel is very quite at night! Bad points: The rooms were too warm at night and the double beds could be bigger. The breakfast buffet ran out of yogurts, croissants and bowls so each time they had to be requested from staff. The coffee was poor. Overall: Great location and recommended to those who want a good nights sleep but close to the action!

A group of us just spent the October Bank Holiday weekend in your hotel and I just wanted to say "Thanks" for the wonderful service and hospitality we received. We were a party of 18 (13 of whom stayed in the hotel) away for a 40th Birthday weekend - It is not an easy feat to keep everyone in a large group happy but everyone's expectations were met if not exceeded! Every step of the way all the staff were so helpful and made it a pleasure to be staying there. On Sunday night we (all 18!) had dinner in the restaurant and it has to be said that the food & service was excellent - with a wonderful choice of dishes on the set menu and all beautifully cooked and presented - Thank you Jimmy and the Westport Inn Staff for a fantastic weekend.

The customer service was outstanding. All stafdf were very friendly and went out of their to make us feel v. welcome. It was like staying in a family home.
