Everything was really great, really nice staff and rooms. The only bad thing was the breakfast , wasnt very good.

I've stayed here with my husband on multiple occasions and we are never disappointed. The staff is always very friendly and the rooms are always clean. We have never utilized the pool but it is clean and looks swimmable even in October. Love the modern touch to the rooms and I'm always a sucker for a Texas-shaped waffle!!

We were looking for a no-frills hotel for a short 4-day get away to Padre Island. We chose the location off the island to save money. But we didn't expect to have the fine facilities that we had especially for the price we paid! We got a 2-room suite with a Queen bed. The room was clean, had well-stocked toiletries, and was in a quiet area. The extra touches like, extra pillows and blankets, double sheeting on the bed, coffee maker, and a good-working A/C made our stay that much more comfortable. Housekeeping was efficient. We were gone to the beaches all day. It was always nice to come "home" to a clean room. Breakfast was always plentiful--scrambled eggs, sausage, fruit, bagels, toast and waffles, coffee and juice. It is sort of a Guest-Feeding Frenzy at breakfast time as the serving area is small. But the staff seemed to manage it well. The free Ferry to Port Aransas was convenient just down the way. After that, the nice drive down the island made everything accessible to us. Locally near the hotel there is an HEB near by, Popeye's Chicken and then a little farther north Walgreen's, Walmart to fill whatever you forgot at home. The staff was helpful and friendly. I spoke with [...]a couple times and she gave us great information about the area. We will definitely return. Thanks!

Very impressed with the hotel! Well worth the stay for the money! Easy access to the Island very clean, the breakfast was ok. But no really good dinning close, had to go to the Island to get a good meal.

We enjoyed our get away at Port Aransas and just lounged around on the beach and enjoyed the soothing sound of the waves. A very relaxing time. We have been staying at Aransas Pass as the hotels there are much cheaper but adequate and comfortable. The staff at Microtel Inn greet you warmly from the desk and are very helpful. A good variety of breakfast items await you in the morning. The rooms are well kept. All in all a good place to get away from it all at a price that won't send you back to work thinking of how you are going to pay for it.
