The staff was amazing. Our room was small but very clean and put together well. The breakfast wasn't great but not a deal breaker. Very impressed with the room for the price. I would stay here again!

We were given a room initially that had cold beer in a drawer, a container that smelled like it had marijuana in it and a lighter. There was also an empty cigarette pack out. The toilet wouldn't flush, so we called the front desk. They initially said they had no more rooms and would call maintenance. They called right back and said we could be upgraded to a suite for same price but it would be smoking. Whem they called back to tell us the room was ready, they said they were out of suites and just put us in a regular room, but smoking.

I needed to come back to Guntersville for three nights to clean out a storage locker and pack up some belongings (I've moved to another city). I have stayed, over the years, or rented for customrs and have gone to check out, all of the upper level and mid-range hotels in Guntersville and Albertville. For this trip I just wanted something clean, safe, inexpensive and comfortable. I was very pleased. I rented a single bed room for $44 per night since I signed up for three nights (but could have gotten a double for about $6 more per night I believe). The bed was more comfortable than beds in many of the much pricier hotels in which I've stayed. The doors all open to the inside, which I think promotes better safety. The furniture and bedding was in great shape. The breakfast bar was decent. The cleaning staff was great and offered extra towels when asked. The breakfast bar was adequate. The ice machine worked well. There was a window to the outside (which turned out to be handy. We parked outside and lifted our bags through). The only real con was that our remote didn't work well and we had to change some of the channels by hand - they didn't have a replacement. I'd stay there again though. Nice staff. Comfortable, clean, and you can't beat the price.
