Getting There

El Zocalo plaza is located in the heart of Mexico City’s Centro Histórico. There are many ways of getting there, depending on how you have chosen to plan your day. If you are touring, there is a tour-bus station on the west side of the Metropolitan Cathedral. Taxis can be hired from anywhere in the city, and most certainly know where to go. If you are taking the underground, hop on Line 2 and get off at Zocalo Station. Line 2 also stops just south of El Zocalo at Pino Suárez Station, along with Line 1, which runs east-west.
