Ensenada Climate

Due to Ensenada's latitude and its location on the Pacific Coast, this town has a dry, Mediterranean climate. The average temperature in summer is around 20 ºC, but the winter averages are a little less than that. Most of the 280 mm of rain falls in the winter, with virtually no precipitation in the summer months.

Getting There & Around

There is no airport at Ensenada. If you do not arrive by cruise ship, then you should take a bus from Tijuana. These move back and forth between the towns frequently and are economically priced.

While much of the town is easily accessed on foot, there are some points of interest outside the city, which you can easily reach on an inexpensive bus trip. The city itself has many regular bus routes. Travel by car must include insurance for travel to Mexico.
