The Hotel Metropolitan Vancouver is ideally located downtown, in the heart of all of the most popular attractions, a mere 2 blocks from the chic shopping on Robson Street, and only 7 blocks from Gastown.

The staff was exceptional. The concierge, Nathalie, was the best! She really helped with organizing our week long trip, took care of dinner reservations, etc. The hotel restaurant named Diva was a pleasant surprise for both breakfast and a late dinner. The room was clean and well maintained. The only two negative comments were that the soft goods in the room, bath sheets, towels, bath mat, etc, were a bit worn and frayed. Second, the televsion system/tv were out of date and had limited selections. Overall, great location, exceptional staff, and well worth the price on Orbitz.

We stayed at the Metropolitan for two nights and were happy and comfortable. The hotel provided for everything we needed and was central to Vancouver city. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly book that hotel on a future visit.

I stayed at the Metropolitan between a cruise and a bus tour. it is walking distance of the cruise ship terminal - even if you are carrying/puling a heap of luggage. I liked the fact that the internet access was free in your room. There is a well equipped gym and a swimming pool and hot pool. I would book there again if ever returning to Vancouver.

Nice hotel but parking was 40 dollars a day. Close to Canada Place.

This is the second time I have stayed at The Metropolitan Hotel. I really like this hotel for its position and facilities. Service is excellent. Rooms are very well appointed. My only two gripes are: The elevators are very slow as is the internet wireless connection. Otherwise a first class hotel. Will use again.
