Metropole Hotel Sliema Guest Reviews
The hotel itself is lovely and the staff are very welcoming and can not do enough to help. The only problems I had during my stay were having to share my room with cocroaches, but as it was very hot, there is nothing that you can do about it. My room also flooded on my 2nd day, but again the staff were very helpful and the room was cleaned immediately.

For the price we paid, this hotel was good value. It included a basic continental breakfast, and is near a number of busstops. However, it is definitely not the advertised three star hotel. The rooms need to be refurbished, there was mould in the bathroom, and the walls were so thin that you could hear people talking in the hallway and in the room next door. The windows were not double glazed, so we could hear the traffic outside all night long. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room were available at extra cost.

I don't travel often so can't really compare much but found the reception desk staff very helpful and friendly even if the rooms were not very clean. The beds seem quite new and were very comfortable. Breakfas was ok but would not eat in for dinner as prices a bit costly.
