Metropol Hotel Paris Guest Reviews
Really it was a good stay. The staff were helpful and very friendly and with some extra merci's, bonjour's bonsoir's things would run smoother. The hotel is just 10 min from Gard du Nord and nearest Metro Station. I would go again.

Rated as 3 star, but equipment and facilities are that old and tired that it is more of a 2 star hotel. As most typical Parisian hotels, it's also quite noisy, both from other rooms and street. Breakfast is ok (bit more than standard continental), but av. value for money @ 9 Euro, and Internet not free, but charged at 5 Euro/day.

The hotel is in a very noisy location, and the room is quite small and basic and unmodernised; felt it was quite expensive but it is in a good location for Gare du Nord

Very small rooms, had to bend over in shower as tiling curved over shower head lowering the ceiling. Noisy with pidgeons cooing very early in the morning along with very loud church bells.

This hotel had a fairly convenient location near the Gare Du Nord station. Unfortunately, that is about the only good thing which can be said about it. Think holes in the wall, beds that might have been surplus from a correctional facility, and corridors with little or in some cases no lighting. We spent one night here and it was one night too many.
