Mespil Hotel Dublin Guest Reviews (97)
We stayed over New Year and found the hotel very good value for that time. It is a lovely location facing the canal but unless you are in the rooms facing the front the views are very limted - overlooking offices. The food was very good and reasonably priced for a hotel and the staff were very helpful. We would definitely stay again.

We can't fault the hotel, it was lovely and it was an easy walk to the centre of Dublin. The only complaint was that there was no breakfast included in the price. I know that we got a deal on the room price but nowhere did it say that it was room only, so you assume a breakfast was included. That was embarrassing, which is why I can't give five stars. The breakfast (or no-breakfast in this case) should have been made clear.

Good location for what I needed. Lacks that extra touch and therefore it is a 3 star hotel. Staff were friendly. Room was clean but sink was leaking all over the floor. I would stay here again for a one night stay when I need a hotel in the locality.

I did not spend much time at hotel as I was on the go most of the time. Did not use restaurant so no opinion. Hotel did provide 2 courtesy computers in lobby which was nice for checking email. Did not see any room thermostat and room got pretty warm at times. Staff provided on time wake up calls. Hotel is a distance from tourist areas but public transportation is nearby. Would stay again.
