The level of service and friendliness at the hotel was superb. The barman in the captains bar, Ibrahim I believe his name is, made the stay that much better by his friendly easy going manner. thank you

I had an excellent stay. It would be nice if there could be a restaurant open for supper at the hotel. Also if there could be a computer that you could pay to use the internet.

Well located given the sprawling and diverse nature o the city. About USD60 by taxi from airport.

Having booked my room through [your website] the pricing for the room was in line with the services rendered. However, it became necessary to extend my stay by two days and the hotel was happy to oblige but ended up charging twice the daily room rate per night from that charged prior to the extension. If informed of the rate sooner, greater effort would have been made on my part to rebook the via [your website] in order to maintain the rate charged. Another point is the the lack of internet access services as advertised!

Good points - very clean and comfortable, modern, the bed and bed sheets were so comfy! The breakfast buffet was okay but I've had better in other South African hotels. No additional charges to use the phone in the room (with a calling card). Bad points - the nearby Brightwater Commons (formerly Randburg Waterfront) was a ghost town when we went. Maybe we went at the wrong time but it was disappointing. Hotel is right on a busy street. No public phone in lobby and front desk staff were not very helpful to me when I wanted to make a phone call after we'd checked out. Same song played over and over again in the hotel's restaurant.
