Very helpful staff at reception. Rooms are a good size and very clean. Beds are comfortable with a wonderful pillow selection. Location was excellent - next to Central station.

Great Accommodation. The room was fairly small though with 2 double beds in it. I did ask for an upgrade as I am an accor member - as I have stayed at this accommodation previously - but unfortunately they told me I was not eligible.... Also breakfast on the 2nd and 3rd Morning - the coffee machine was not working, and to top this off the girl who I spoke to who was trying to fix one of the coffee machines was quite rude, and offered me a short black about 20 mins after the first confrontation, only to find it was cold and disgusting. Not impressed.

It's good value with breakfast included. The double glass window is good but our room is the corner one facing two streets. So it's not that quiet during night time.

Firstly, request for room was granted...excellent effort. Room was ready on arrival, i.e. earlier than check-in time. Room was large and clean and comfortable. Will stay here again.

We were amazed with the amenities and service this hotel offer... We checked in earlier than schedule without any additional payments and very accessible to everything in Sydney... We'll love to come back there everytime I will be in Sydney!!!

Our experience at this hotel was good. The parking was easy, the staff were nice, the room was clean and looked good, best of all there was no noise when we went to bed. I've stayed in hotels where all you can hear Is noise from the street and clubs, because of the location there was hardly any noise at all. We ate dinner at the restaurant, it was overpriced for small portions but it was tasty.

Very friendly staff, eager to help. Nice & big room. Within walking distance from Central Station, bus interchange station, restaurants, Darling Harbour. Would have been perfect if there was free wifi.

This hotes is not that easy to find for first time. Halls are very dark and in some places furniture was making walking around bit ackward. Staff is very friendly, profesional and helpful. Did not tried restarant due to many venues available around hotel. i would not recomend this hotel to visualy impaired person, dark coridors , yet well lit lift buttons that makes travel easier.

We stayed there only for the weekend but everything was right at our door step, taxi's were very easy to get, although the city was a bit far to walk it was still very conveinant. Thank you Mercure for a great stay! I will definately be staying there again.

The location is perfect, especially for the Chinese, as it is close to Chinatown, to the central station, and to the shopping centres (such as the World Square). The first closeness is extremely important for me since I believe one can never change one's palate.

A very nice, clean room with comfy beds. We were also given food/beverage vouchers, which covered a very nice breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

It was a long drive from Brisbane to Sydney... Once I got there, they didn't have my booking and took them 20 + mintues before they gave me a room, didn't upgrade me for free after all that. Was very very disappointed, because was so tired and the rain was so heavy outside too. The room was a bit small for my standard, however, the location of the hotel was excellent. Bang in the middle of the CBD, with all shopping and eatting shop every where nearby. Won't mind book the same hotel again, if having another holiday in Sydney. However, next time I have to book a bigger room.

If you need to catch an early morning train, this hotel is ideally located as it is less than 5 minutes walk from the station. I have no complaints about the hotel, although it is at the expensive end for my needs. However, my booking included a $50 meal and bar tab which eased the pain. Eve's bar has a couple of microbrewery beers on tap and there is a happy hour, which means if you drink quickly you can double the value of your $50 bar tab. Actually, I really don't remember much about this hotel - but it was clean, comfortable and convenient. And the staff were really nice.

Hotel location is the best - near to Chinatown. Good for lovers of Chinese and other oriental food. Also near Central Railway station - good for travelling within or outside of the state of New South Wales; near to city free bus (green colored) bus stand. Hotel staff allowed change of rooms due to dirty window exterior affecting city view. Concierge willingly gave directions to places we wanted to go. Hotel has guest laundromat on 5th floor. Airport shuttle bus dropoff / pickup right at hotel doorstep.
