My 12 year old son and i have stayed at many perth hotels as our little treat. We stayed at the Mecure a few tiimes in the last 1-2mths and wouldnt want to go anywhere else after haviug such good experiences there. Location is perfect - very short stroll to city malls and foreshore. Staff go out of their way to make your stay as pleasant as posssble- ranging from seeing if we would prefer a room more suitable to our needs than the room we originally booked (thankyou so much) to addresssing any issues/needs with a smile. Alll the amenities we needed were there and no complaint about any of them Add to great staff and service the outdoor heated roo ftop pool - nothing more relaxing than their pool.

The hotel spa has heaps of mould, in our room the bathroom has no fan which has caused some roof mould, and the bathroom drain needs to be replaced. Otherwise the hotel is in a great position, beds very comfortable and staff were quite good. Once again the spa area is a health risk with all the mold on the rails and windows... overall though i would give it a 8 as long as I dont rate the spa area.

Arrived to The Mercure inIrwin St, the reception staff where extremely rude....cool & dismissive - after check in I ended up having to grab a luggage trolley and start loafing it myself. The concierge ended up coming out (he was actually very polite & helpful), the room was average - bed was comfortable - the bathroom needed up grading - very poor lighting through out, no view & we booked a taxi that never came. We decided not to stay for the breakfast - figuring there where much nicer places in Perth for Sunday breakfast. Best thing about this hotel is we only spent one night.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. A great location, walking distance to most cultral venues. My only complaint about the hotel would be the noisy doors.

The bathroom needs a makeover. TV was too small, practically needed opera glasses to view! Good location and pleasant staff
