ProfA venerable 4/5 storey hotel, in good proximity to convention centre, festival facilities, casino, museum, gallery, university, recently extended by a squeezed and cramped economy block at the back, and in the process of renovation of the larger and roomier original, once luxury now standard, front block. Third and fourth floor already completed showing good well furnished and plumbed rooms and ensuites, but hallways and corridors still dingy and hopefully awaiting recarpeting. Second floor cosed off and still in the throws of chipping and hammering, with thankfully only noise impact to the floor above. Dining small but better than good; breakfasts anything but exciting. Maybe desedrving four stars when completed, but not now.

well locatd, but room very small and bathroom for 1 person only... but good staff many works during my rest so painting smells :

Rooms are very small,but very clean Staff are very courteous and helpful.If the rooms were bigger and the bathrooms had a bath that would make it more of a 4 star rating

I had my reservations after reading some reviews... However, I found it to be otherwise. Although room is small and it does takes some navigations to get to the rooms.. I think the rooms are awesoom. Clean and nicely decorated. CAnt complain for the price..good value

The room we had was very small (smaller than ones we have stayed in in London and I thought they were small!) The car parking was a nuisance. Their car park was full so we had to park up the street in another car park, but had to go to the hotel desk to get a voucher each day to get out of the car park.
