Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet Hotel Al Ain Guest Reviews
Well, we arrived at the hotel around 1:30am. I have 18 months baby and he is trained to sleep in his crib. So, I asked the staff at the reception for a crib and he said it will be delivered shortly to the room. 30 mins later and nothing, me and my wife are too exhausted. So I called the reception again and they said it is coming. I waited another 15 min but nothing happened. So I called again and they said the same BS. After 15 min from that, I went down to the lobby asking to talk to shift manager. Of course there is no manager at this time. So I raised my complain again and they said we are sorry the service guy forgot (come on in 3 times he forgot). So finally it was delivered but we are almost 3am. I was planning to extend my stay but from this experience, I decided I will never go back to this hotel or recommend it to any one I know off. Another sign of bad hotel, there were some group from Europe when I entered in the hotel arguing with the staff over the charges. So that by it self indicated a troubled hotel

No movable Water jets attached to the toilet itself. (For eastern people it is a must)

Mercure Grand Jebel Hafeet is a very pleasant place to stay. The pool and water slides are fabulous and other facilities such as Steam /Sauna and Squash/Table Tennis are nice too. The breakfast was nice and lavish. The drawback is that you have to eat in the hotel restaurant since there are no options within 15-20km. The view from the hotel is nice though it is barren with hardly any greenery.
