have stayed at this hotel several times, the location is perfect. Staff great but the hotel is starting to look a little tired compared to our previous visits here

It was an odd experience arriving and finding no reservation for me despite using member dollars to make the booking. My name had somehow been mixed up so I was now Andrew instead of Peter. It was no big deal as the charming reception guy just changed the name and we were off to the room. We expected small and it certainly was but it was all we needed for a 10 hour overnight stay and especially considering the tiny amount we paid. Great location, nice staff and that's all we expected. We would recommend this hotel for those wanting location over facilities or room size.

I have stayed at the hotel previously and enjoyed our stay, However on my last stay i was allocated room 610 which was a nice comfortable room with everything we needed. BUT it was through the wall from the elevator shaft and the noise at 5.15am is so horrendous that you cant sleep, as that is when the staff do the linen runs to all the floors in prepation for housekeeping. AVOID ROOM 610

The hotel is in perfect location just few minutes walk from Central station, shopping area with restaurants and pubs. There was a strong smell from bathroom water discharge, the room was very small. Hotel needs to be renewed. The price is good. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is very central which is excellent for all amenities , but sorry to say this is not a hotel were sleep is paramount , the room i was in was meant to be a double was was very small and so hot with no air con or fridge , the window had to be left open and the noise from across street went on till 04.00 in morn then all you could hear for another hour was bottles getting emptied into bottle skip , then to finish things off the lorry collecting bottles at around 08.00 sunday morn just finished me off , on the other side the room was clean and tidy , in future i would pay a bit more and do a little more research before choosing my hotel .

Would stay there again when we go back to Glasgow. Staff very polite and reception and bar area very comfortable. Room was a bit on the tight side and the extractor fan didn't work in bathroom but on the whole, very satisfied with this hotel. Very convenient for the centre of the City.

Overall, pretty good, really central which was probably its biggest selling point. It took a while to check out as there wasn't anyone on the front desk for a while. Also, it would benefit from making the location of the parking a bit more obvious. We ended up parking in an NCP car park further away.

An excellent location for the train station, shops, entertainments etc. Most major places of interest are well within walking distance of this hotel. The restaurant I found expensive for the amount of food received. It was a case of high prices - small proportions.
