Very clean hotel on very good location. Short walking distance to city center (Inner Stadt), Kunsthaus museum and old castle on the hill (Schlossberg). Very pleasant and efficient staff, excellent breakfast, free Wi-Fi in the rooms...

Well placed by the market in Lendplatz, a short stroll from the river. The inside (courtyard) room was nice and quiet, even with the window open. Didn't have the breakfast (expensive at 14 euros), had coffee and cake for a fraction of the price from the bakery on the market. Recommend the Gasthaus Lend almost opposite.

We enjoyed our stay at the Mercure City Hotel Graz but after walking around felt that it was not in a first class district - although it was in an 'interesting' position. the hotel staff were very helpful and very pleasant and we could not have asked for more in the way of cleanliness and service.

The hotel was a lovely surprise, and very handy for both getting in and around town. The staff were very friendly and spoke fairly good English. The hotel restaurant''s food was excellent, both for dinner (although not the cheapest you will find) and the large buffet breakfast.
