Mercure Blackburn Dunkenhalgh Hotel & Spa Guest Reviews
The staff at this hotel are lovely and very friendly. We had to move rooms twice as neither were up to scratch, but there was no problem and they were very accommodating. The spa facilities are definitely not up to scratch. The relaxation room has lots of different types of sauna, steam rooms and ice experiences, but unfortunately everything is just lukewarm and so just smells a bit damp. It could do with being a lot hotter! The food in the restaurant is lovely and we would highly recommend it. It is also quite reasonably priced for a hotel. Our bill for two of us with 2 starters, 2 mains and 4 drinks came to £44, and we didn't have the cheapest options. And we only paid £60 B&B for the room, so we could overlook things not being perfect!

Nice to see a busy hotel but then the service staff need to be able to cope with the numbers or get more staff.
