Very convenient and comfortable. I would happily recommend it to visitors to Auckland.

Check-in and check out was a breeze. The staff were friendly and make me feel welcome. The Vue restaurant is a very nice place to have dinner and drinks. The waiting staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room is OK. The slight issue was the old rickety chair in my room which needs a bit fixing. Also I would recommend the hotel management to invest some sound proofing materials in the rooms. Because throughout the night, I kept hearing noises within and from outside of the hotel. For example I can hear the road works at the intersection at night a block away. Guests talking rather loudly on the corridors and rooms. Also the guests going in and out of their rooms slamming the doors rather loudly which is a bit annoying when you try to get some rest.

Central location on Auckland Wharf is the best feature of this hotel. Internet connection is not free, and the cost to purchase the service are ridiculously high. Rooms are not big but quite comfortable. Overall good value for money

The best thing about this hotel is the location Perfectly positioned near the wharf in Queens Street, close to Britomart and and public transportation The rooms are decent and spacious enough, nothing fancy but the beds are quite comfortable Not a luxury hotel but it serves the purpose of having a cost effective accommodation in city center

We chose The Mercure for locality. The midweek noise from the street was hard to sleep through. The bedrooms was a bit tired and in need of renovation. But everything was clean and tidy. The onsite Vue Restaurant was the best, with an amazing view of the Harbour. Would stay there again
