Needs refurbishment ! The check in staff seemed very uninterested in their job and guests. The price of the evening meals is a bit over the top and in addition they would bill in Euro with a 3% bad exchange rate. The bed was not comfortable (sunk in the middle).

The price of the room was reasonable, however drinks were very expensive. The room itself was pretty average but the leisure facilities helped to provide an enjoyable stay.

The setting, the staff, the scotch, the rooms, the spa, the meals....were all top notch...did i mention the scotch? Really, to come in out of the cool air outside and be greeted by a very friendly concierge and warm fire was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay near Aberdeen. The only down side was that you needed a car...no bus service...but the taxis were not too expensive if you needed to go into town.
