Needs refurbishment ! The check in staff seemed very uninterested in their job and guests. The price of the evening meals is a bit over the top and in addition they would bill in Euro with a 3% bad exchange rate. The bed was not comfortable (sunk in the middle).

The price of the room was reasonable, however drinks were very expensive. The room itself was pretty average but the leisure facilities helped to provide an enjoyable stay.

The setting, the staff, the scotch, the rooms, the spa, the meals....were all top notch...did i mention the scotch? Really, to come in out of the cool air outside and be greeted by a very friendly concierge and warm fire was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay near Aberdeen. The only down side was that you needed a car...no bus service...but the taxis were not too expensive if you needed to go into town.

Wonderful country setting with easy access to the Grampian Hill and Cairngorms and still only a few miles into Aberdeen town centre. Friendly and helpful staff. Fantastic leisure facilities, could do better on the cocktail list though!

Directions on website from South were confusing - there were several turnings to Marycutter and I got the wrong one which mean't I was later arriving. Having arrived it was extremely comfortable

Lovely location, good price for room let down by very high bar prices. Food slightly disappointing, no, underwhelming. Overall, a good stay and I would go back.

We received excellent service, food and accommodation. We had a special luncheon for 24 people and a reserved space. The room was lovely, complete with flowers and nicely set up and the staff was very helpful, supplying us with a needed bouquet at no charge.
