Menzies Carlton Hotel Bournemouth Guest Reviews
Very friendly and helpful staff. Rooms were large with a separate lounge area (we only booked for a double but were given a suite). Very clean and good facilities. Located just outside the centre of town which meant it was very quiet but easy to get back to. No air con in the rooms which was the only minor disappointment. I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

the word jaded comes to mind!! Has lost some of its former style but still a nice place to stay.

I found that the time between ordering/requesting and fulfillment was too long, and the hotel wasn't full, so they must have been understaffed. Also the cleaning staff left trolleys and rubbish bags in the corridors till late afternoon which was dangerous, unsightly and smelly. Room was spacious, but furnishings and decorations looking tired, bathroom was modern, but bath was too high for a person to climb into.

One of our rooms although being a good standard generally. When taking a shower there was insufficient hot water, and took a long time to become warm.
