I was here for a short 2 night stay. The hotel is well situated - very close to Plaza Mayor and nearly next door to the palace. Off a small road, rooms are very clean with satellite tv. Wi-fi only in the lobby. Great airport shuttle service.

The Meninas was VERY well located, a great place to eat literally across the street (Va Ca Ba Co from memory). The staff were extrememly helpful, in particular the young girl with wavy / curly hair - she was fantastic!! Our room was completely modern within, which also meant it was super clean. The room was a little small to be able to fit our luggage, but this was easily outweighed by the location and complimentary items such as free internet (we are not travelling with a laptop, so wi fi was of no help). Would stay here again most definitely and would recommend to others. Note: I think the hotel might be located above a station, we were on the 3rd floor and only felt a slight tremour when in the bathroom. Perhaps if on levels 1 and 2, it might be stronger and perhaps annoying? Just something to consider.

A very friendly and well-kept establishment in argueably the most interesting part of Madrid. The front desk staff is perhaps not the most competent, but their enthusiasm and friendliness help a lot! Very good breakfast which is not excessively expensive compared to other big-city hotels. Room a bit cramped. In sum more like a good three star than a four star hotel.

A fancy little hotel near the Opera and Royal Palace. The rooms was fancy and it was very clean. The breakfast could have been better (bacon fried in olive oil is not my favourite)and there could have been some more cold cuts. But all in all a very nice and clean hotel!

This was a hotel that hit the high marks on every category. The location was super, the rooms were great and the service five star. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel to anybody visiting Madrid.

Price is good for the standard of the hotel. However, there was only one speaking language channel (CNN) on TV and a few german channels. It would be nice to add TV5 Europe (for french natives, like myself).
