Melia White House Hotel London

Pretty good location check in smooth, room tiny, bathroom was a challenge because it was so small, staff friendly. Good location for walking to camden town and oxford street need to venture further if you want decent food or refreshements. great Portland underground across the road but several changes on underground to get to any of the tourist attractions. Walked to Kings cross in less than 20 min taxi cost around £8

Everything was more than top notch! The hotel had made an error on our room booking and upgraded us to an executive suite which was one of the nicest I've stayed at in my 60 years.

Good location close to trains and shops. Room tight with two large bags but more than adequate size for our stay as out most of the time anyway. Free wifi in rooms would be a good addition and something I believe they are looking at. Plenty of cafes close by that offer this so not a problem. Bar fridge rules don't cater for you using the fridge for your own drinks/food which seemed strange.

A welcoming, 'latin' reception; relaxed but professional service. Large rooms. Strategically located near Oxford St. and shopping areas. Very pleasant stay.

Great hotel. Quite large but surprisingly quiet. Excellent location by Regents Park. Can't fault it. Taxi or tube to all locations are close by. 15 minute walk to Oxford Street

Located opposite Portland Street tube station and close to Regents Park this was a great hotel. Although breakfast was NOT include in the price we were offered an upgrade for little more than the cost of twp breakfasts which gave us a king-sized bed, breakfasts and access to a lounge which provided free tapas & drinks from 6pm. That effectively meant that dinner was include as well.

Internet access was extremely difficult (every day different problems); very standard 4star accommodation; rooms where smaller then expected; price/offered not in balance

thoroughly enojyed our stay at this hotel, was ten min was to madam tusauds where the open top tour buses stop, we got to see all the sights in our short stay. safe location right next to regents park, only drawback there wasn't a lot of restaurants in the hotel area but a nice bar across the road

Third time we have stayed here and didn't disappoint. Worth upgrading at check in to a royal service room, which has extras plus lounge with free refreshments all day with unlimited alcohol and great tappas/canapes all free in the evening. Otherwise drinks are very expensive.

Standard 4 star big hotel - good facilities but no character. Standard room was fairly small, especially with a kingsize bed and slightly oppressive spanish-style decor, and bathroom was miniscule: anyone with physical limitations would have difficulty climbing into the bath. Breakfast was OK but it was disappointing in the season of ripe pears to only have tinned ones on offer.

Breakfast served canteen style seats allocated at any table therefore if its busy you share your table with strangers! Standard rooms have very limited floor space and two people cannot walk around at the same time.
