Melia Orlando Suite Hotel At Celebration Guest Reviews
My family and I have been to Orlando many times in the past. This time, we decided to go for a suite instead of a 'room'. The Melia did not disappoint. The online pictures showed the rooms exactly as they are, and the pool was the same. Our room provided more than ample space for us. The two baths and the two king bed rooms were exactly perfect. There was a small living room, dining room, kitchen combo that made the entire place feel like a condo, instead of a hotel suite. The Melia is in the center of everything. It is just off Interstate 4, and just off the 'main drag', and right down the road from Disney. Both directions of Bronson (HWY 192) has every imaginable eatery possible, from all the known fast foods, Shoney's, IHOP, Denny's; Cracker Barrel, Red Lobster, Long Horn, Chili's, Oriental, Mexican, etc. The food selections were great! And they were extremely convenient to our hotel - just a hop down the road in the car. There were shopping centers, pharmacies (example: CVS, Walgreens') on HWY 192. We even hopped on the Segways (available for rent just down the road from the Melia) and toured Orlando and Celebration - a Disney-designed community with a lake, township and lovely homes. At night, we went back to Celebration for the nightly 'snow' that covered the street. Kids of all ages played in the man-made snow, which was replenished every 30 minutes. There were carriage rides (just like Charleston, SC). This little community had so many great places to eat. So, all-in-all, the Melia is located so very close to a lot of things. I would definitely stay again!

Loved the pool area and the suites, which are spacious and functional. Did not like the FREE Water ( turned out to consist of 2 free bottles per suite per day), the Free shuttle to the parks ( only runs a few times a day, with a LONG advanced notice and long rides to drop people off at different parks)and the included "complete continental breakfast "( consisted of counted out pastries and beverage per person). Any Motel does better that this. I also would have liked to see housekeeping actually vacuum the carpets and clean the bathroom surfaces, after all, we stayed there for 7 days.

This was our first visit to the Mona Lisa and we were extremely pleased! The room was very clean, the atmosphere was great and the staff were very friendly and available if needed.

Impressive huge rooms with 4 Star furnishings. Would suggest this hotel to friends coming in town. Beautiful kitchen and they also had the ASKO washer/dryer in the room if you wanted to do laundry. Hotel food was great and very reasonably priced. Would suggest eating in the bar with a great little menu and food cooked fresh on stage in a hearth. Excellant stay.
