Excellent location; close to the railway station and on the bus route to the city centre. Family rooms available, which are not always easy to find. Very well appointed hotel, with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.

The hotel is very clean, but more of a business hotel than a holiday hotel. The walls are not soundproof and the location is just a little too far from the tourist centre of Girona - its in the commercial and business side of the city. Staff were pleasant and accomodating. Not a true 4 star hotel, but a good 3 star would describe it better.

The offered Sauna and jacuzzi were minute and cold requiring an overlong warm up. Why bother advertising them. Staff told us we coul get a taxi in 15 mins. But when we tried no-good. Walked the half-hour each way to the centre FOUR times!

Excellent hotel, Girona is such a nice city to walk around and you definitely need a car for this hotel. It's also next to a train line although there is no noise inside the rooms.

Most enjoyable stay at the Melia Gerona - only disappointment was that it is quite a long walk to the historic centre of Gerona.
