Problem to find the entrance to hotel due to renovation of the building and no sign. Breakfast was superb

This is an amazing hotel. Our only problem was with the billing which did not show the deposit we paid with you. I queried it with the hotel and they said they had no record. On our return I emailed for clarification and they replied that the deposit had been taken into account. The bill did not show it at all.

I booked this last minute and was very surprised when I got there. I was in a room on The Level with a dedicated check in, free breakfast and a fantastic room with a view over the harbour. It was reasonably priced and apart from the building works opposite I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel, would definately recommend it! Only thing is that they're very much about business-travelers and less about leisure. But you have the wonderful views, the marvelous breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff, the beach, the sea, a very beautiful, lively town... So what else do you need?

There is an indoor pool, but you have to pay extra for using it. We went in Feb 08 and there is building going on opposite the front of the hotel, so until that is completed, I suggest requesting for a room NOT overlooking the harbour. We had one overlooking the sea and could not hear the building noise at all. We took a taxi from and from the airport. For some reason it was 20euros to the hotel and 14euros from the hotel with the meter running. The breakfast selection is excellent and the setting for the breakfast room is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and if we visited Alicante again would most likely stay there.

On arrival room had not been allocated although we had received confirmation of our booking from the hotel. Staff very pleasant and efficient and ammended the problem within half an hour. Most enjoyable stay, close to all amenities in Alicante.

We were travelling as a family, and were a bit disapointed since the indoor pool was not free to use. Also, we were promised an extra bed free of charge, but had to refer to this promise two times before it was agreed. Also, the €15 breakfast is quite overpriced - we recommende any nearby café

We had a double room at the Royal Floor. Good service, but we asked for a new room as the one we got was without view and noisy outside. People were working outside with painting etc. The new room was excellent. Disappointed over the pool old and tired. The whole hotel seems a little out ouf fashion.

Good location, well laid out, comfortable room, overlooking the marina; shame we did not have longer to enjoy it fully. Professional, helpful staff, especially at the Bistro. Good value. Would recommend.

Central position, near beach, harbour & within walking distance of the town. Restaurant service & food quality excellent. Spa good, gym facilities not good & expensive, also have to wear caps in indoor pool! Sun terraces well maintained & hotel well maintained. Royal floor facilities well worth the extra cost & the staff are charming!Thoroughly recommended!

Having traveled much of Spain the last 18months, I don´t think we would bother even to give this place a rating, it was so over priced and didn´t offer anything at all to our needs no tours no information they didn´t speak hardly any English. They seemed to cater for the semmiars mostly and group meetings. This is a honest account of our stay.

The standard of rooms are a bit hit and miss, the first room we were checked in to was very poor in need of update, however they were happy to change the room for us and we did get a much better deal which prevented us from checking out!

A large hotel with reasonable restaurant and leisure facilities, but the exterior is unattractive. It is located between the harbour and a busy beach, and approaching it on foot you walk down a dirty alleyway past bins and service entrances. Top two floors are luxurious but the rest needs refurbishment.

This hotel was in a great location overlooking the beach on one side and the harbour on the other. The rooms were always clean and the hotel staff were helpful. The guests staying at the hotel were mainly spanish which gave the hotel a nice atmosphere this is a great hotel for families or couples. The hotel spa also make it a good choice for a girly pampering holiday too, guests of the hotel also recieve a small discount on treatments. Having a swimming pool was a added bonus as I found it hard to find many hotels in Alicante with pools. I would definately recommend [this hotel] when staying in Alicante it was a perfect choice and I hope to visit it again in the near future.

We paid extra and stayed on the Royal Floor, this included snacks and a free bar upon until 11pm in the evening, also all your mini bar purchases are free. For the extra we paid we felt we had our monies worth plus more.
