Melia Alicante Hotel Guest Reviews
This is an amazing hotel. Our only problem was with the billing which did not show the deposit we paid with you. I queried it with the hotel and they said they had no record. On our return I emailed for clarification and they replied that the deposit had been taken into account. The bill did not show it at all.

I booked this last minute and was very surprised when I got there. I was in a room on The Level with a dedicated check in, free breakfast and a fantastic room with a view over the harbour. It was reasonably priced and apart from the building works opposite I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel, would definately recommend it! Only thing is that they're very much about business-travelers and less about leisure. But you have the wonderful views, the marvelous breakfast, clean rooms, friendly staff, the beach, the sea, a very beautiful, lively town... So what else do you need?

There is an indoor pool, but you have to pay extra for using it. We went in Feb 08 and there is building going on opposite the front of the hotel, so until that is completed, I suggest requesting for a room NOT overlooking the harbour. We had one overlooking the sea and could not hear the building noise at all. We took a taxi from and from the airport. For some reason it was 20euros to the hotel and 14euros from the hotel with the meter running. The breakfast selection is excellent and the setting for the breakfast room is lovely. We enjoyed our stay and if we visited Alicante again would most likely stay there.

On arrival room had not been allocated although we had received confirmation of our booking from the hotel. Staff very pleasant and efficient and ammended the problem within half an hour. Most enjoyable stay,close to all amenities in Alicante.
